Something about me

This was something i sent off to them also.
In reality it's just a little bit about me.
I'm Dan the Man, who never had any plan.
I just go with the flow as best as I can,
and I recently discovered that I was part of GOD's Plan.
Know that I didn't plan this myself, it just sort of happened by FATE,
but it now looks like it was all part of some DESIGN,
Do you think LOVE had to do anything with it?
In reality Love did, but she isn't the REASON,
that entity would be the Infinite Reality,
that you may call GOD, but I call ALLAH.
The bottom line is to take responsibility for what you think & what you do,
and then you will know the Truth that set's a man free,
and it very much resembles Nirvana, but in reality isn't,
'cuz Buddha didn't recognize GOD.

Guest Column:
Efficiency in our lives, Efficiency in our Society, & voting Libertarian
I vote Libertarian, and I always have. Nothing really bad has ever happened to me, and life goes on.
If you were to vote Libertarian the same may happen to you, but you must take responsibility for your freedom before that can happen. In Reality, this happens to be the most efficient way to live a life & order a society by. You may ask me why I say this, but I say this because it is the truth.
I am not a rich man, but I am a happy man. I have a loving wife, and two wonderful daughters. One is in the Army Reserves, and the other on an ROTC scholarship. They understand responsibility to ones nation. I met my love while we were both serving too. I’ve always voted Libertarian and nothing really bad ever happened.
Sure I’ve had many jobs. Some I left by choice, others by layoff. We always got by. Once I even used up all my unemployment benefits, just because I could, not because we had to. At the time we had taken in Love’s dying aunt. My wife has a deep sense of responsibility to family and friends. Isn’t that how it’s supposed to be? By the way, I always voted Libertarian. While I vote my principles, I do what it takes to live my life. I took from the government because it was easy. We gave of our time to Aunt Fran because it was right. I’m no right wing fanatic, just so you know.
When we first got married we bought ourselves a house. We borrowed money from our parents and took out a loan. We paid everyone back. It was our responsibility, even though we had the freedom not to do it. I don’t need any law to tell me about that. That is why I’ve always voted Libertarian, and nothing really bad has happened to me.
We haven’t saved a lot of money, but we have the usual things. IRA’s and 401k’s and retirement plans too. Do I need to mention social security? Will it be there for you? I’ve never worried about it. I know I’m responsible for me, and my loved ones. Didn’t you know this too?
We don’t live in our first house anymore. We could have stayed there forever as far as I care. It was a modest place, but we called it home. Love’s mother though, was living all alone. So we moved in to help her mother out, and to live out her last days in relative comfort. It is comforting to have your relatives near you when you are alive. When they have died, it’s too late then.  And I’ve always voted libertarian.
I’ve told you that nothing really bad has ever happened because I vote libertarian. That is the truth, but in reality things happen in this life that doesn’t make us happy. Of course that has happened to me, just as it’s happened to you. But that is no reason to think that the government is going to make it any better. Life goes on. Get over it. I always do, and I’ve always voted Libertarian.
I’ve always got what I needed, and when I want it bad enough, I get it myself. I don’t lie, cheat, or steal to get it. It’s as simple as that. I’m no rich man though, I’m just happy with my life.  Take a little responsibility my friends, and you may just be happy too.
I don’t spend money on politicians or their lobbyist friends. Anybody that spins their wheels trying to get the government to do anything is wasting their time and their money. They could be making something happen right then, instead of waiting for it to happen later. And that is what makes for an efficient society. And that is just one reason why I vote Libertarian. I have many more, but the editors of this paper don’t believe you deserve to read them. C’est la vie. That’s French for ‘life goes on’. Until you die, and that is the end.
